1. Our promise
We collect only what we need to run your website and email, we never sell it, and we follow Canada’s privacy law (PIPEDA). WebNewBee is operated by RKP Atlantic Business Services, a trading name of 687441 NB Inc., New Brunswick.
2. What we collect
Your name, email address, province (for sales tax), the address and domain of your site, what you type into the builder, the photos and logo you upload, your email messages, your invoices, and technical records such as IP addresses and login times. Your card number is entered in our payment processor’s secure window: we never see or store it, only the last 4 digits, the expiry date and a token.
3. Why we use it
To create and run your site and email, bill you and send receipts, send you account emails (login links, payment problems, security notices), stop fraud and abuse, and answer you when you write to us. Tips and offers by email only if you said yes; you can unsubscribe anytime.
4. Who helps us
Our payment processor (card payments), our hosting provider Hetzner, whose servers and backups are in Germany, and our AI provider Anthropic in the United States, which receives what you type into the builder to write your pages. They may only use your information to provide their service to us. Because of this, your information may be stored or processed outside Canada and be subject to the laws there.
5. Your visitors
Messages sent through the contact form on your site are delivered to you. We store and deliver them on your behalf and don’t use them for anything else. We don’t add advertising trackers to your site.
6. Cookies
Our dashboard uses one cookie to keep you logged in and one to remember your language. No advertising cookies.
7. How long we keep it
Account information while your plan is active. Your site and email for at least 30 days after your plan ends, then we may delete them. Invoices for 6 years after the end of the tax year, as Canadian tax law requires. Backups roll over within a few months.
8. Security
Encrypted connections (https), passwordless login links that expire in 20 minutes, encrypted off-site backups, and access limited to the people who run the service.
9. Your rights
You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or withdraw consent (which may mean closing your account). Write to our privacy officer at hello@webnewbee.com. We answer within 30 days. If you’re not satisfied, you can complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada (priv.gc.ca).
