Acceptable Use Policy
Last updated: October 3, 2026
1. Why we have rules
WebNewBee sites and mailboxes share servers and a reputation. One bad actor can get everyone’s email blocked, so these rules protect you and every other customer.
2. Not allowed
- Phishing: pages that pretend to be a bank, government, delivery company or anyone else to collect passwords, card numbers or personal information.
- Spam: bulk email people didn’t ask for, bought or scraped email lists, or emails without a working way to unsubscribe (Canada’s anti-spam law, CASL, applies).
- Malware, viruses, hacking tools, or attacks on other systems.
- Illegal content or activity, including fraud, scams, sale of illegal goods, and child sexual abuse material (reported to police).
- Hate, threats or harassment against people or groups.
- Using other people’s copyrighted work, trademarks or photos without the right to.
- Pretending to be another person or business.
- Using the service in a way that overloads the servers or disrupts other customers.
3. What we do about it
We can remove content, pause a site or mailbox, or close an account that breaks these rules. When people are at risk (phishing, malware, spam in progress), we act right away and tell you after. Otherwise we email you first and give you a chance to fix it. Plans closed for abuse are not refunded.
4. Report a problem
See a WebNewBee site or email that breaks these rules? Write to hello@webnewbee.com with the address of the page or a copy of the email.
